Overnight trains

  • Days 1-2 Depart on early afternoon by train via the Eurostar to Paris to connect with the modern overnight Russian private sleeper train to Berlin including de luxe cabins, departures Fridays returning Thursday. You can travel one way by Day trains if these dates don’t fit in with your itinerary!
  • Days 2-3 Arrive early morning in Berlin by train, city of contrasts and contradictions. Monuments of Prussian grandeur rub shoulders with reminders of a divided country alongside stunning new architectural developments. Stay for 2 nights in central Berlin a short distance from the main station at the 3* Allegra (room only) or the 4* Angleterre with its striking turn of the century façade both in the heart of the old city at Friedrichstrasse. Other sightseeing possibilities include 180 museums such as the Pergamon on Museum island. The world famous Brandenburg Gate should not be missed, also the Kaiser Wilhelm church, a shattered ruin from the Second World War, History is never far away, with fragments of the infamous Berlin Wall preserved and a small museum at Checkpoint Charlie.
  • Days 3-4 Return by overnight sleeper train to Paris with onward connection to London by Eurostar.


Day Trains

  • Day 1 Travel on the early morning Eurostar to Brussels with onward connections by high speed German ICE train arriving Berlin in the late afternoon.
  • Days 2-3 Stay for 3 nights at the hotels mentioned.
  • Day 4 Return by day trains via Brussels departing mid morning arriving back in London in the evening.


Daily throughout the year (except 25 December), extra nights possible at Paris and Brussels, Cologne and Berlin. Before or after your Berlin holiday by train special rates are available at the 4* St Pancras Pullman or spoil yourself at the 5* Renaissance at St Pancras station, London.


  • 2nd class rail travel including seat reservations and train supplements. Overnight train with private Double sleeper with washbasin and breakfast.
