  • Day 1 Depart from London’s iconic St Pancras train station on the new Eurostar train on the morning departure to Paris, look out for the ornate Calais Town hall in the distance.  A private car will meet you for the transfer from Nord to Lyon station where you pick up the high speed TGV train to Turin.  Here you stay at the Turin Palace, acknowledged as the best hotel in the city!
  • Day 2 Morning free to perhaps visit the world renowned Egyptian museum, even the Automobile museum, or just explore the city – the hotel will look after your bags.

    Just walk out of the Turin Palace and adjoining is Turin station for the afternoon  high speed Frecciarossa train to Florence for the under 4 hour trip.
  • Days 3 – 4 Arrive at the 4* luxury Brunelleschi hotel in Florence is a beautiful reconstructed building comprising a 6th century Byzantine tower and a mediaeval church.  Breakfast is extensive and generous, there a lovely restaurant, where you can dine outdoors in summer.  An evening meal is included for one of the nights you stay at the Brunelleschi.  The hotel is situated within walking distance of all the main sites such as the Duomo, Ufizzi Gallery and the Accademia , home of Michelangelo’s David.  Florence is mostly traffic free so is a joy to wander the galleried shops or stroll by the Arno river.
  • Day 5 Depart in the morning by high speed train to Milan, change here to the tilting train taking you through dramatic Swiss alpine lakes and mountains and the city of Lucerne.  Continue by TGV and Eurostar high speed trains arriving back in London at 10.30 pm, the private car transfer will take care of you from Paris Lyon to Nord station.
