  • Day 1 Take the morning Eurostar departure to Paris Gard du Nord from London’s iconic St Pancras train station, the beautifully restored gothic masterpiece.  If travelling 1st class (Standard Premier) a light meal with drinks are served.  At Paris Gare du Nord a private car will whisk you to Paris Gare de Lyon, to pick up the French double decker TGV train for the 6 ½ hour trip to Barcelona.  You’ll pass pretty Rhone valley villages, then watch for the flamingos on the etangs (lakes) in the South of France with glimpses of the Mediterranean.  At Barcelona Sants station, the 4* Barcelo Sants is above the station, rooms are in contemporary style.  There are plenty of Tapas bars nearby!
  • Day 2 Following a superb breakfast buffet, board the morning train for the 5 ½ direct train to Seville crossing the Spanish plain passing Orange groves and other splendid sights  Here modern Santa Justa station is more like an air terminal, a private car is waiting to take you the 15 minute drive to the old centre of  Seville.  The historic entrance to the unique Hotel Las Casa de la Juderia, a  series of 27 houses from the city’s old Jewish quarter which are linked through patios and underground passageways, every room is quite unique.  Facilities include a spa, outdoor swimming pool (summer only) and a piano bar.  Dinner is served at the newly opened Emporion restaurant offering local Sevilliana specialities and Tapas
  • Days 2-4 Get your bearing on our 24 hour hop on hop off tourist bus with commentary as the tourist sites in Seville are well spread out.  Of particular interest is the cathedral (worth a climb to the top of the Belltower), the old Moorish palace still used as a royal residence and the lush Maria Louisa park commemorating the 1929 EXPO including the Plaza d’Espana celebrating Spanish culture both in Spain and the New World.

Wander the old narrow twisting streets built narrow to minimise the midday heat, arriving in little squares of whitewashed houses, stop at a Tapas bar or just relax in the shade of a Jacaranda tree, this is the joy of Seville, all a few minutes’ walk from your hotel.

Being the home of flamenco, why not enjoy an evening performance, of course it’s for the tourists, but still highly enjoyable!
  • Day 5 Private car transfer to Seville station for your morning train departure to Cordoba which takes 40 minutes.  Here, another private car will take you the 10 minute transfer from Cordoba station to the Casas de la Juderia in the heart of the old Jewish quarter of Cordoba.  Yes, the same name as the hotel in Seville and just as unique with its local Andalusian courtyards.
  • Day 6 The highlight of Cordoba is the Mezquita, the old Moorish mosque built in the 9th century, with myriad Arabic arches, in the middle you’ll find a highly decorated catholic cathedral, probably the most incongruous religious building you’ll ever see.  Then wander around the narrow streets of the old Jewish quarter, discover hidden courtyard gardens and stroll over the Roman bridge spanning the river Guadalquivir.
  • Day 7 Take the mid-morning train to Granada, the latest part of the Spanish High Speed network to be competed.  The short 10 minute transfer to the Alhambra Palace takes you to this grand hotel built over 100 years ago in Moorish style.  Adjoining the Alhambra itself, its hilltop position offers stupendous views over the city and beyond.  You will be well looked after by the helpful staff and the dining is outstanding both for dinner and the breakfast banquet.
  • Day 8 Said to be paradise on earth, the Moorish Palace and gardens are captivating and is one of the highlights of our train tour of Andalucia.  The delicate Islamic arches and inscriptions around shady courtyards lead on the extensive Generalife Gardens, with water displays lined with beautiful floral displays.  Both here and at the Mezquita in Cordoba, night visits offer a completely different perspective (not included).  For an outstanding view of the Alhambra and the city go to the nearby Plaza de San Nicolas.
  • Day 9 Private car to Granada station for the mid-morning train to Barcelona, again stay at the Barcelo Sants part of the main train station.
  • Day 10 Morning train departure for Paris where a private care will transfer you from the Gard de Lyon to Gard du Nord station for the Eurostar train home.

Daily throughout the year. Before or after you holiday special rates available at the 4* St Pancras Pullman, or for a touch of luxury spoil yourself at the St Pancras Renaissance on the train station concourse and end your inclusive train tour of Andalucia in splendid style.
