  • Days 1-3 Depart from London’s iconic St Pancras train station by Eurostar to Paris the city of love and elegance!  The recently modernised Hotel Corona Opera is quietly situated in the Grand Boulevard district.. Nearby is the Arc de Triumph leading to the Champ Elysees, for luxury shopping and sightseeing visit world renowned museums such as the Musee d’Orsay for Impressionist paintings, and the Louvre is essential for the painting of the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and many great works of art.
  • Days 3-5 Early Morning start by high speed train crossing the dramatic South of France coastal landscapes of the Cote d’Azure. Stay for 2 nights at the Grand Hotel le Florence, Nice, convenient for the Promenade des Anglais, the celebrated beachfront, or take the lift up to Castle Hill for superb views of the city and coastline.
  • Days 5-7 Mid morning train departure for the spectacular ride along the Ligurian coast, passing many tunnels through rocky outcrops to Rome, the eternal city, and  stay for 2 nights at the Hotel Galileo close to the historical center. Orientate yourself with a sightseeing tour covering the Coliseum, the Roman quarter and St Peter’s Basilica – the wealth of culture is staggering.  The highlight for many visitors is the Sistine chapel, one of many amazing rooms on the tour of the Vatican.
  • Days 7-9 High speed train for the 4 hour journey to Venice arriving at Santa Lucia station on the Grand Canal. It’s a short Waterbus ride to your hotel, the La Forcola near St Marks Square, with its bell tower and the Doges Palace. Enjoy a half day boat trip to Murano Island renowned for its glass ware and take home a unique souvenir. In summer relax on the beach at Venice Lido just 40 minutes away from St Marks Square by motor launch.
  • Days 9-11 Dramatic Alpine scenery as the train loops on itself to gain height through breath taking mountains to Lucerne in Switzerland. This picture postcard city with its historic wooden bridges is set on a crystal clear lake surrounded by mountains. Stay at the Hotel Waldstaetterhof close to the station where you can take a day excursion to Engelberg and Mount Titlis.
  • Days 11-13 Take the morning train along the spectacular Rhine valley, acclaimed for its many castles and legends such as the Loreley rock. Stay in Cologne for 2 nights at the Dom Spitzen Hotel. Visit the famous cathedral, take a cruise along the Rhine or enjoy the delights of the Chocolate Museum with demonstrations at the former Stolberg factory.
  • Days 13-15 Direct train to Amsterdam staying at the Nova Hotel close to the station. Take a cruise along the elegant canals lined with merchant’s houses, visit Ann Frank’s house or the world famous Rijksmuseum.  Recently refurbished, well worth visiting for massive Night Watch painting by Rembrandt and many others.
  • Day 15 Finish your 2 week train holiday of Europe with a return trip to London by High Speed Thalys train to Brussels, connecting with the Eurostar back to London.
